                Family rings/crests

In the book all shadow hunters have metal rings witha crest imbedded into it.

 I reasearched the origin of crests and it was started in before roman times. The crests were put into armor and shields.

I also reasearched family rings and the old tradition of family rings would be that the husbands mother would have the birthstone of her husband and all her kids (occasionally ther parents too) and that ring would be given the her first sons wife.

City of Bones Predictions 

1) My first prediction for the City of Bones would be that Clary Fray is a suspect at a murder scene. I think this will be taken away by the people who committed the crime to keep it secret

2) My second  prediction would be that Clary has discovered a hidden would of maniacs that kill demons. I think she will join in on the demon killing and become a shadowhunter

3) My third prediction would be that she will fall in love Jace and he will help her find Clary find her mother. I think that she will fall in love with Jace and then something will happen that separates them f

    This page made me feel really happy. I really like the way the author describes the way Max looked when he walked into Alex Stieners shop. I also really like how the chapeter leaves you wondering about what happened after Liesel and Max hugged. Death said that Liesel moved died in the suburbs of Sydney. Who do you think took Liesel to Sydney?

      What I liked about the paragraphs from page 490-491 was the way Death was describing the way he saw Rudy and Liesel react to the dying pilot. I liked the way he was talking about remembering Liesel from the train ride where Death took the soul of Liesel's brother. Death also mentions that Liesel knew he was there at the scene of the dying pilot but she did not try and fight him off.  How do you think Liesel noticed Death if nobody else did? Why do you think Liesel do not fight away Death?
